Mary McGuckin is angry and disappointed after contacting several New York City and State politicians over the past month in hopes of fulfilling her son - Army Private First Class Timothy (Timmy) Walsh's - wish to carry official New York City and State flags with him while deployed in Iraq. She says none of the officials even attempted to help. Private Walsh, originally from Queens, is scheduled to ship off from Fort Hood in Texas for a 12-18 month deployment the day after Thanksgiving.
