Here, Allen Mai, 67 and a retired social worker from Rockland County finds action at one of six tables set up in a gymnasium at the Tarrytown Community Opportunity Center..---.The Rivertowns Table Tennis Club is populated by an eclectic mix of characters who spend their days as writers, doctors, cartoonists, crossword editors, nannies, train repairmen, motivational speakers, child psychologists and high school students - amongst other occupations.
