The entire cast and crew come together backstage..--- .New York, NY: Fall, 2010 : "The Scottsboro Boys" is a provocative musical based on the experience of nine young black Southern men falsely accused of rape in 1931. The show officially opened on Broadway on October 31, 2010 at the Lyceum Theatre. After successful off-Broadway and out of town try-outs, theatergoers and reviewers alike were hungry for the latest, and likely final, Kander and Ebb musical. The production was met with mixed reviews and closed prematurely on December 12, 2010. Closing night presented a mix of emotions for cast and crew.
